Mrs. Anna E. Baltimore was the daughter of John and Susan Tinsley. She received her preliminary education at Gilmore School, Cincinnati, Ohio. Afterward she attended and graduated from Oberlin College, Oberlin, Ohio. She studied music under both Italian and French Vocal teachers and the piano under Miss Julia Coburn.

She traveled extensively with her own concert Troupe, composed of Margaret Shelton, Margaret Butler, Julius Wade, William Dunlap and William Boone. Known as the Annie E. Tinsley Concert Troupe.

She died January 1, 1922, at the age of 85 years. A daughter and son are still living in Cincinnati, Ohio.
