Eugene Sizès

, baritone, sang at the Metropolitan only during the 1900-01 season. His five-month engagement with the company began November 10, 1900, in Los Angeles, with a Saturday matinee performance of Mercutio in Raméo et Juliette. His New York debut was in the same role, December 18, 1900. Sizès' twenty-five performances during the season also included Nevers in Huguenots, the King in Le Cid, Valentin, and Spendius in the first New York performances of Ernest Reyer's Salammbo. He was paid 3,000 francs per month, or $2,880 for the season.
